N/R U-13: Tamale Metro thump Yendi to secure a final place spot in the ongoing tournament

The Ghana education service Under 13 soccer boys’ competition is ongoing in Kpandai with four tough teams seeking to qualify for the finals of the competition.

The first semifinals featured defending champions, Tamale metro and the Yendi Municipality where the game ended in a zero all draw at regulation time. The game was then decided on a penalty shootout that saw Tamale Metropolis winning in a sensational fashion.

It was a 4-3 shootout victory for the boys from the northern regional capital.

With the result, Yendi will play the loser of the second semifinals that will be played between tournament host, Kpandai and the surprise of the tournament, Nanumba South (Wulensi) while Tamale metro will play the winner of that second encounter.
