Newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has indicated that he will make sure the club plays in the FIFA Club World Cup during his tenure.
The competition is played by champions of top competitions from around the world every year including winners of the Uefa Champions League.
After his confirmation as the CEO of Asante Kotoko today, Nana Yaw Amponsah says the FIFA Club World Cup is one competition he will ensure the club plays in during his stay at the club.
“I’m going to make sure Kotoko participates in the FIFA Club World Cup”, the former chairman of Phar Rangers has said.
In line with the ambition, Nana Yaw Amponsah will have to guide the Porcupine Warriors club to win the CAF Champions League.
It is a competition they play in a lot but they have failed to perform to the highest level in the last decade.
