The Normalisation Committee of the GFA, which also doubles as the Elections Committee of the 2019 GFA Elections, is pleased to inform football stakeholders and the general public that all is set for today’s Regional Football Association elections across the country.
GFA staff who have been assigned special observer roles in all regional capitals in the ten RFA zones have reported positive feedbacks from all ten regions.
So far, there has been impressive cooperation between election stakeholders, i.e delegates, electoral commission staff, security and GFA officials at all centres.
As we gear towards the main event; casting of ballots in the next few hours, the Normalisation Committee wishes to urge all stakeholders to uphold the remarkable spirit of cooperation they have exhibited so far throughout the electoral process to ensure incident-free elections across the country.
We wish all stakeholders the best, as well as a safe trip back to their respective destinations after the anticipated successful electoral process.
