Head coach of Pearlpia Ladies and CEO of Banuma, a sports consortium, Baba Nuhu Mallam over the week was adjudged the best coach after his team, Banuma FC were crowned champions in the Maiden Magnolia Master League.
They garnered 20 points, scoring 31 goals to top the table ahead of Falcons on goal difference. Banuma FC coasted to the title after winning six, drawing two and losing just one of the nine matches played and therefore automatically qualify to participate in the Magnolia Champions League later this year.
The Champions fought off competition from Falcons, Kamina FC, World Trade Center, Media 11, Dee Bee FC, Brotherhood FC, Panache, Foreign Guys and Galaxy Stars to win coveted trophy and a cash prize of 1000 Ghana cedis.
Airforce based Falcons, who placed second walked away with 600 Ghana cedis while Brotherhood FC received 400 cedis as prize for placing 3rd at the end of the competition. Medals were presented to the winners and runners up.
