The Northern Regional Football Association on Tuesday presented logistics worth over 9000 Ghana Cedis to Thirteen District, Municipal and Metropolitan Football Associations as part of the Fifa Covid-19 support fund to the RFAs.

Each District, Municipal and Metropolitan Football Association received a pair of goal nets, fifteen Black Stars branded nose masks, two footballs and five hand sanitizers.

In all thirteen pair of nets, hundred and ninety five nose masks, twenty six footballs and sixty five hand sanitizers were distributed to the thirteen DFAs.

The provision of the logistics form part of the the Northern Regional Football Association’s agenda of promoting football which seeks to help raise the standard of grassroot competitions in the Region.

Presenting the items to Chairmen of the DFAs, Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo said the NRFA received an amount of 23,000 Ghana Cedis from the Ghana Football Association as its share of the Fifa Covid-19 support fund to help the development of football in the region.

According to Alhaji Rhyzo, the regional ExCo decided to spend the money in capacity building, logistics and furnishing the RFA office at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
