On October 10, 2019; then Northern Regional Football Association chairman hopeful, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo launched his manifesto titled “Transforming Northern Football Through Visionary Leadership”.
He revealed his vision and plans for the Northern Region Division Two (2) League by unveiling a giant trophy his administration intends to present to the winner of the league and trophies for major outstanding performances at the end of the league season if he is given the mandate by delegates to lead Northern Region Football in the upcoming Regional FA elections. Delegates gave him the mandate to become the NRFA Boss during the elections on 18th October, 2019.
Dreams Tamale FC wins NRFA Division Two (2) League at their first time of asking
After making history by gaining qualification to the Division One League for the first time in the club’s debut season, Dreams Tamale FC will play a coronation match at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
The main aim of the game is to award the Division Two(2) Champions the giant trophy as promised by the NRFA Boss Alhaji Rhyzo during his manifesto launch in 2019, 40 medals and a cash amount, with both the 1st and 2nd Runners up all receiving cash rewards.
Dreams Tamale FC defeated then Zanwara FC and now Tamale Soccer Angels to the Division One League, after sealing a 2-0 win in Tamale last September.
They now play Tamale Soccer Angels on Thursday at 3:00pm kick off time to climax the Northern Regional Division Two(2) League season.
Dreams Tamale FC now joins Tamale City FC and Steadfast FC as representatives of Northern Region in the yet to begin 2021/2022 Division One League which kicks off later in November.
