Northern Ghana Football: Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association recognize Baba Rahman’s contribution

The Executive Council of the Sagnarigu District Football Association yesterday showed appreciation to Black Stars left back, Baba Abdul-Rahman when they presented a citation in recognition of his contribution to football development in the Municipality.

The delegation led by Chairman Ibrahim Dawuda and ExCo members Coach Abdullah and Alhaji Wowo, thanked Baba for his immense support to Juvenile Football in the North.

The Chelsea Star on Monday had donated over 150 footballs, sets of bibs and markers to the Tamale Metro and Sagnarigu Municipal to help support grassroot football.

He also supported the Associations with cash donations to ease administrative challenges.

Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association who received over 80 balls and more 1500 Ghana Cedis during the ceremony acknowledges the importance of Baba Rahaman’s philanthropic gesture, hence the Citation presentation.

“On Behalf of the Municipal Executive Commitee of the Sagnarigu FA and the entire membership we say: Thank you for your immense support in providing three footballs each, set of Bibs and Set of Corns to each of the 27 Juvenile Clubs in the Municipality, and the Cash donation to support the Office can not be left out”

How can we ever thank you enough for all you’ve done? We’re forever grateful you helped us at the time when we needed help most. If anyone deserves thanks, it’s you.

We really Appreciate your support in this endeavor. Thank you for Always being there for us” The Citation read.

On his part the former Dreams FC player praised the leadership of the Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association for the Citation and said he’s ever ready to support football development when the need arise.
