Tamale based Women Division One side Young Queens FC over the weekend paid a Courtesy call on the NRFA Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo at his residence in Tamale.

Addressing a team of 26, comprising players and Technical team members led by Coach Iddrisu Napari (KUBLI), the Regional Chairman advised them to be disciplined, law abiding and take their training serious.

Alhaji Rhyzo urged them to emulate the strides made by girls like, Mukarama Abdulai and Alhassan Basira who have already made their mark at the National and world level.

He also encouraged them to be good ambassadors for the region wherever they find themselves in order to carve a good image for the Northern Region.

Alhaji Rhyzo pledged the NRFA’s support for Women Soccer in the region and urged them to collaborate with the Regional Football Women’s Committee to uplift the game.

The NRFA Chairman concluded his engagement with Young Queens by making a personal donation of GHc 400 to motivate the girls.
