Northern Regional Football Association Chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo has expressed joy over Real Tamale United’s (RTU) qualification to the Premier on Sunday July 25, 2021. He praised the Team for what he described as a “wonderful season”.
Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo has supported RTU in diverse ways this season, and said the the qualification to the top flight of Ghana Football by the club had been a “true reflection of their performances.
He added: “I would like to congratulate RTU for winning Zone 1 after an intense final day of the season. It is a great achievement for The Pride of the North, who are making a return to the Premier League after 8 years in the Division One.
“Their victory on Sunday against Unity FC means a lot to the North and I would like to say Congratulations to the entire team. “The whole Region have proven that they have an amazing passion for football, and I can say it was truly a pleasure to be part of this success.”
