Northern Regional Football Association Chairman graces Unity Games

The Regional FA Chairman for Northern Region, Alhaji Abu – Hassan RHYZO was a special guest at the finals of the Women Clubs Unity Games at Kumbungu. In all, 22 women clubs took part in the games. In the finals, Tamale Super Ladies beat Tamale Northern Ladies by 1 – 0 to be crowned overall Champions.
Bagabaga ladies had earlier on beaten KYA ladies of Kumbungu to place third.
In a brief speech, Alhaji RHYZO advised the Coaches to soberly reflect on the mistakes made and ensure that things are corrected to achieve the desired results in future.
He also commended the players for sacrificing their Xmas celebration with their families and camping in Kumbungu to ensure the successful completion of the games.
He however requested the Women Club Committee to liaise with the RFA to ensure that Organisational Challenges encountered during these games do not recur.
The RFA Chairman emphasized the fact that Awareness has been created as far as the Unity Games are concerned. But in terms of Organization, a lot more has to be done.
He gave the Organisers 5 cartons of Voltic Mineral water.

100Ghc for the Media.
100Ghc for the “Coaching Referees”.

50Ghc for a striker of Northern Ladies and 10Ghc for the youngest player.
Chairman further thanked the Chiefs and people of Kumbungu for their patronage and wish all and sundry a Safe Journey back home.
