NRFA chairman pledges his unflinching support to the Tamale Metro Football Association

The Northern Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairman Alhaji Mahama Abu Hassan Rhyzo has pledged his full support for the Tamale Metro Football Association (TMFA) for effective and efficient running of football activities in the metropolis.

According to the RFA chairman, the regional football governing body is committed in creating an enabling enviroment for conducive execution of football activities by all football bodies in the region including Tamale Metro Football Association which serves as a hub for unearthing untapped talents in the region.

Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzos also urged the metro football body to cooperate, collaborate with the NRFA in all aspects of the game including key decisions on competitions it intends to organize, this he believes will inure to the benefit of the football populace in the Metropolis.

The football leader in the region notwithstanding, also had an advice for the chairman of TMFA, Abdul Aziz Ramzi, ExCo Members and communication team of the Association.
Among other things, he advised TMFA boss to withdraw members on working committees who sleep on their work or fail to carry out their core mandates expected.

Taking such bold decision will help enhance work in his administration, chairman Rhyzo noted.
In addition, he opined that the TMFA, as a sub body under the Regional football body, in the discharge of its duty should not be seen rubbing shoulders with regional football Association.

Advising the media committee of the TMFA, Chairman Rhyzo suggested that the communication team should be mindful and guided in their line of communication in attempt to propagate and market the association on its activities.
Further more, he implored on communicators to put forward the best information that has the potential to sell Tamale Metro football Association and Project the game in a very good light.

He gave this advice when the Tamale Metro Football Association led by the chairman Abdul Aziz Ramzi including ExCo members paid a working visit to him at the RFA’s Office at the Aliu Mahama stadium on Saturday afternoon as part of their familiarization tour to introduce members to stakeholders in and outside the game.

TMFA in recent times has been paying courtesy calls on the traditional authorities in Tamale seeking their prayers and blessings in anticipation of easing of restrictions by government to allow full resumption of football activities in the country.
Less than a week ago, TMFA also visited the Tamale Metro divisional police command to introduce members to the police service and also request for security cooperation and collaborations when necessary especially in cup matches.
