Northern Regional Football Association chairman hopeful, Alhaji Abu Hassan Mahamadu popularly known as Alhaji Rhyzo today during the launch of his manifesto titled “Transforming Northern football through visionary leadership” revealed his vision and plans for the Northern Region Division 2 league by unveiling a giant trophy his administration intends to present to the winner of the league and trophies for major outstanding performances at the end of the league season if he is given the mandate by delegates to lead Northern Region football in the upcoming Regional FA elections.
The event which took place at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium and live on five major radio stations in Tamale, Namely: Kesmi FM, Diamond FM, Justice FM, Amana Radio and Angel FM brought Tamale to a stand-still as the stadium conference room was filled to capacity with stakeholders from all over the region in attendance to support him.
The business community also attended in their numbers to pledge support for the Northern Regional Supporters chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Northern Regional FA election is slated for 18th October, 2019.
