The Ghana Football Association has sign a partnership deal with Decathlon Ghana as official retail partners of the association for the next four years.
The deal will see Decathlon as the only retail outlet that will sell souvenirs of the Ghana FA including jerseys and other items from 2020 to 2024.
Consumers will, therefore, have to contact Decathlon for all products of the association that will be on the market for consumption.
This was highlighted in the statement of the CEO of Decathlon Ghana Mr. Kwasi Tabury during the launch of the partnership deal at their office at the Nungua Junction Mall.
“Decathlon Ghana is partnering the Ghana Football Association as the official retail partner of the association for the duration of four football seasons (2020/21 to 2023/24),” he said.
On his part, the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E.S Okraku reiterated the role of Decathlon Ghana as the official retail partner, noting they will be responsible for the sales of merchandise of the association.
“As the official retail partner, Decathlon outlets will be established sales points for the sales of GFA merchandise and products,” Kurt said.
“With the recent launch of the new national team strips (jerseys), we are encouraged by the electrifying reception of our fans. Indeed during the most recent friendlies by our dear Black Stars, our social media platforms have been besieged by many requesting for the information as to where to get some of the jerseys to buy.
“Tonight, I can confirm that the wait is finally over. Under this partnership, Decathlon Ghana will be the official retail partner for the sale of Black Stars and national team jerseys,” he added.
Decathlon Ghana is a sports retail company that deals in the sales of sports products for all sporting disciplines, both known and lesser known.
