Former Player of Tamale Real Republicans currently playing for Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Division 2 side, Uzairu Alhassan has made a donation to the players and technical team of the Tamale Based Colts club at the club’s training premises the Kalandan Park.

The 18 year old Black Satellites defender enjoyed some fantastic moments with Republicans before being snatched by Tamale Utrecht Football Academy in a justify at 12 years.

Uzairu who was a member of the triumphant Satellites team that conquered Africa just over a week ago in Mauritania in the Africa Youth Championship, donated items including Footballs bottles of mineral water, bags of water, energy drinks and other items.

Uzairu’s talent caught the attention of Sanvinskin in Sweden where he spent 6 months before joining Malmo FF youth side. He then moved to mother club Utrecht in The Netherlands before returning home since he was still a minor.

Speaking to sports24online.com, Uzairu Alhassan said “ this is the club I once played for, I feel and believe it will be of good to donate something to the boys in order to boost their confidence” this is just a token because when we came back, the country appreciated our work by giving us something and I believe my clubs also deserve something because if not for these clubs, maybe I wouldn’t be playing at this level, he revealed.

 

Receiving the items on behalf of the team, Raheed Issahaku Captain of Tamale Real Republicans U-17 side, thanked Uzairu for the kind gesture and pledged the team’s commitment to do their very best in bringing glory to the club and supporters as a whole.
