The Black Stars of Ghana go top of Group G temporarily after beating Zimbabwe 1:0 in Harare this afternoon in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The new-look Black Stars were 3-1 winners on Saturday against the same opponent in what has been a 100% start for new coach Milovan Rajevac as he takes over the Stars job for a second time.
In the absence of Dede Ayew the Captain of the side, Thomas Partey led the team onto the pitch and leading by example got the only goal through a well taken free-kick from some 25-yards out.
The result put Ghana on top of Group G with 9 points from 4 games while South Africa is second with 7 points from 3 games.
