Real Madrid haven’t dropped their interest in Chelsea fullback Reece James.

Real expressed interest in James earlier this summer before he was named Chelsea captain a fortnight ago.

Real need to find a new right-back with Dani Carvajal inside the final year of his contract and James is high on his shortlist.

The Mirror says they remain interested, despite the captaincy and the player now recovering from a hamstring injury.

The additions of Axel Disasi and Malo Gusto has fueled talk of Chelsea being willing to sell James for the right offer.
