Real Tamale United has issued a letter of solidarity and appreciation to their supporters during their Ghana National Division One League game over the weekend in Sunyani against BA United at the Coronation Park.
The letter, which has some strong wording sighted by sports24online.com reads:
LETTER OF SOLIDARITY AND APPRECIATION TO REAL TAMALE UNITED SUPPORTERS DURING OUR MATCH AT THE SUNYANI CORONATION PARK.
The Board, management and players and supporters of The Pride of the North wish to express our sympathy to our teaming supporters in sunyani for the overwhelming support given to their darling club RTU (Pride of the North).
We are appreciative of all the support and solidise with them for the torture, intimidation and wanton distruction of their properties by hoodlums and sports zealots of BRONG AHAFO UNITED.
We know that your daring posture can not lead you to be cowed by all these dastardly and barbaric acts reminiscent of medieval times.
Once more, we are grateful and pray that the Ghana Football Association institute investigation and appropriate sanctions and compensation paid to all those who suffered as a result of the attacks.
