Thomas Tuchel was sacked over video conference in ten minute meeting this morning at Chelsea‘s Cobham training complex.

Tuchel was dumped by owner Todd Boehly without warning after last night’s Champions League defeat at Dinamo Zagreb.

The Sun says when he arrived at the training ground there was nobody there to greet him.

Tuchel was then thrust into a conference call with the Chelsea hierarchy.

In a relentless 10 minute meeting, Tuchel pleaded for more time as he urged for a chance to turn things around.

But his request fell on deaf ears as the Stamford Bridge top brass informed the German there was simply no time left.

Tuchel was left “totally shocked” as the news sunk in.

The Blues have already moved on and are in talks this afternoon with Brighton manager Graham Potter.
