Ronald Frimpong beats Sulley Muntari, others to win MOTM award as RTU draw with Hearts.


Real Tamale United forward Ronald Frimpong has been crowned the NASCO Man of the Match as Hearts of Oak held new boys RTU in a zero all results in Tamale.

According to Frimpong the outcome of the match was not what he expected but he will continue to work hard for the success of RTU. “Not the result we wanted but hearts of were lucky to have gotten a point from us, we will work harder to give our supporters what they want.” He explained.

Winning today’s MOTM has made it three MVP in 14 matches, while he has so far scored two goals with four assists in the 14 games he has played so far.

Meanwhile, Real Tamale United will start the second round of the Ghana Premier League 2021/2022 with a crunch encounter with Accra Great Olympics in the nation’s capital, Accra.
