Real Tamale United warmed up for the new season in style by easily seeing off Steadfast 2-0 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in their last friendly of the campaign.
RTU head coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko selected a strong-looking line-up as he made his final preparations ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League campaign next this weekend , with the majority of his new signings in action.
Real Tamale United controlled majority of the first half but couldn’t find the back of the net. However their strength showed as they raced into a commanding 2-0 lead after the break thanks to Baba Kushibo and 18 year old Martin Akolgo’s strikes.
The WeyyyUna Boys will kick off their return to Top flight Football in Ghana after 8 years, with a home game against Great Olympics on Sunday.
