Real Tamale United registered a 3-0 victory over Tamale Soccer Angels, a third tie side behind closed doors at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium as they resume training ahead their clash with Medeama SC on Sunday.

Keeping up their fine form after recording two conservative victories for the first time this campaign, the Pride Of the North United have already started their Premier League campaign with wins over WAFA, Ashgold and recently away to Berekum Chelsea but organised another friendly in a bid to get more match fitness into players.

Head Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko made 11 changes, handing starts to Emmanuel Essandor, Iddrisu Shakun, Iddrisu Gadafi, Francis Effah, Bismark Adu, Issah Hudu, Hedir Mohammed, Martin Akolgo, Kwame Boakye, Hardi Mohammed Abdulai and Moro Iddrissu.

RTU broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when Francis Effah slotted the ball past the opponent goalkeeper before Abdul Fataw Sayibu made it two at the interval.

Both sides made a number of changes in the second half and Nawas, who has made a return to the pitch after a long injury, found the back of the net to give Real Tamale United a three -goal advantage.

Sixth on the league table after six games this season, RTU welcome Medeama SC to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium as they continue their search for a third home win.
