With Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko seeking to end a three-match winless run in the 2019/2020 Division One League, Assistant coach Kwajo Whyte insists he isn’t a loser and he hasn’t had the best start after replacing his boss against Nkoranza Warriors.

RTU suffered a 2-1 away loss to Nkoranza Warriors, their third defeat in three opening games of the season.

Speaking to Sey Mubarick after the game, Kwajo Whyte said “In these types of matches, there are times when you are lucky and times when you don’t have it [on your side], but that is something you can’t change, we did everything at the dying minutes of the game to at least get a point, but not lucky”

Real Tamale Utd next league game is against Unity FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium and coach Whyte believes that should be the beginning of RTU’s season. “We are going to launch an operation nine points in our next three games, we have Gbewaa FC to play in the FA Cup and after that we have the advantage of staying in Tamale for three league games against Unity FC, Steadfast and Nea Salimina” he concluded.

Real Tamale Utd will face Gbewaa Fc in the MTN FA Cup preliminary stage on Sunday, a game the fans would love to see their first victory enroute to getting onto winning ways by the Northern Blues.
