Selected Ghana Division One League referees undergo COVID-19 test ahead of season

Selected referees for the 2020/21 National Division One League have undergone the mandatory COVID-19 test as part of the protocols for the new season.

Under these protocols, registered players of the 48 Division One League clubs, ball boys, referees, coaches, club officials and other essential service providers shall undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test before the start of the season.

The first batch of samples were taken on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram where referees are currently undergoing technical, CMS and integrity training for the new campaign.

The 2020/21 Division One League is set to commence across the country on Friday January 8, 2021.
