For the first time in 3 seasons, Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) member, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe, has been trusted with a crunchy division 1 tie, BA United vs Steadfast FC at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
The match day 19, of the second-tier league, which is the first ever game for the Ho based Referee, sees the Zone 1 leaders, Steadfast, travel as guests to face 8th placed BA United.
The Broadcast journalist will be assisted on the lines by Kingsley Asare and Jones Amoah Boateng.
Steadfast, who are tied on 37 points with regional rivals RTU, have all to play for, having secured a point in their last away match, 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea. They then beat Bofoakwa Tano 2-0 at home during the midweek, which gave them a goal aggregate edge over RTU.
Meanwhile, host, BA United have had few inconsistencies this season; lying 8th on the Zone 1 league table with 25 points. After losing their Match Day 17, encounter, 0-3 away to Bofoakwa Tano, they stayed away but defeated Nsoatreman Fc 2-1 to boost their winning mentality against leaders, Steadfast FC.
Ibrahim Amadu will man the 4th official post while Albert Commey Aryeetey Commissions the Match.
