The first round of the Ghana Division one has ended after match-day 15 with the head coach of Steadfast Fc and Moses Abayase making the huge talking points after their Tamale derby game against Dreams fc Tamale.
The first half of the match ended with a lone goal lead for Dreams fc, however a tactical introduction of Moses Abayase formerly of Real Tamale United and legendry Hanan Jiwah and Deen Ibrahim brought a significant change into the game, causing Steadfast fc to mount an unbearable pressure on Dreams fc.
The introduction of Moses Abayase never took too long for Steadfast fc to get an equalizer as Abayase found the back of the net on the 52nd minute of the game thus 7 minutes after he was introduced into the game.
The substitutions made by Mohammed Gargo resulted in a comfortable 3 – 1 win over their city rivals thus Dreams fc Tamale, goal courtesy Deen Ibrahim (81) and a 91st own goal by Yusif Alhassan.
Some supporters who spoke to our reporter Prince Kwame Tamakloe explained that the introduction of Moses Abayase and Deen Ibrahim upfront to champion the Steadfast’s attack was the catalyst to their win yesterday.
The victory by Steadfast fc put them on 6th position on the division one zone league table.
