Tamale: Media 11 coach hails return of star man Kwaku Oduro

The head coach of Northern Media 11team, Sey Mubarick has described the return of influential winger, Kwaku Oduro as historic after an impressive appearance for the team in their 1-2 defeat to Coaches at the Aliu Mahama Stadium Anex on Friday.

The game which was to prepare the Media ahead of their participation in the Annual PFAG fun games, was to text the strength of journalists who have been out of the team for sometime. Oduro who tormented the defence of coaches in Tamale proved to be the star player for his side after 18 months absence.

Speaking to reporters after the game on Friday, Media 11coach Sey said of Oduro: “He’s a fantastic addition to our squad, let’s not kid ourselves. He’s one of the players we miss in our set up and to have him back after that long time to perform this way, is great ”

“We have to deal with the challenges we have with the journalist we have. Oduro has missed lots of games but to watch him play this way, I’m shocked and hope he can emulate that performance against the Referees this weekend .”

The game also ended Sey Mubarick’s unbeaten record in 2019 after six win and two draws.
