Chief Executive Officer of premier league side Eleven Wonders, Albert Ayitey Commey has lauded the Kurt Okraku-led Ghana Football Association for the speed and passion with which his administration is running Ghana football.

The experienced football administrator speaking on Tamale-based Kesmi FM’s Sports Chapter on the decision yesterday by the GFA’s ExCo to cancel the 2019/20 Ghana football season explained that he believes the FA has good reasons for such a decision and in the coming days they will properly explain to all stakeholders its reasons and the way forward.

When he was quizzed to access the work done so far by the FA gaffer, Mr. Kurt Okraku in this relatively short period of time, Mr. Commey said, “I have known Kurt for close to forty years and we are like brothers and I decided to join him because I know the quality that he is made of and I have not been disappointed. but for the COVID-19, the gentleman [Kurt Okraku] was bringing in a lot of surprises”.

“It has never happened in this country before that we do not have a sponsor and the FA will go into its coffers to hold us [clubs] because he knows the difficulties that we go through. So on a scale of 0 to 10, I will give him about 8 to 9 because for me he has even exceeded my expectations. I have his manifesto and I am checking everything that he is doing and it looks as if the guy [Kurt Okraku] is over-running. I wanted people to judge him after four years but with the way he is going, he will go beyond even the manifesto”. Mr. Commey added.
