Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew believes there is always pressure playing for the National team and that being deputy captain for almost seven years under Stephen Appiah, John Mensah and Asamoah Gyan, he’s has learned a lot from these guys.

Dede was speaking to the media today at the Cape Coast Stadium ahead of Ghana’s AFCON 2021 qualifier against South Africa tomorrow.

According to him nothing has change in his role for the team. “It has not changed, I have always had a role to play in this team apart from being a team player. You just have to be ready for any responsibility and try to push the boys up”. Dede explained.

The Black Stars will lock horns with Bafana Bafana in their opening Group C game at the Cape Coast Stadium. Kick off is at 7pm local time.
