Three players from Bagabaga Ladies FC receive maiden call ups to U-17 female team

Three players from the Tamale Women Division One League Club, Bagabaga Ladies Fc received their first national team call up.

The trio, Ziblim Farihana (Goalkeeper), Yahaya Asana (Left Back) and Abdulai Salamatu (Attacker) were part of the preliminary 42 players that were invited by Head Coach of the female U-17 national team, Coach Baba Nuhu Malam. The 42 players reported to camp at Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram on Thursday, 30th January, 2020.

The Technical Director of Bagabaga Ladies Fc, Alhaj Wowo believes that the three players that are invited from his club have everything it takes to make it into the final squad.

The team is expected to train for two weeks before the final squad is announced ahead the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers in February, 2020.
