Coach of the young stallions of Burkina Faso Serafin Dergani says the game against the Black Satellites of Ghana was a difficult one for his side.

The young stallions lost to the Black Satellites 2-0, with two goals from WAFA forward Daniel Lomotey.

Despite enjoying some fair amount of possession, the Burkinabe side could not find the back of the net against a solid Ghana defense.

“We played a difficult match against Ghana who were very good in most parts of the match. We had a system that we were using in the past three matches but it didn’t work in the first half which forced us to make a change in the first period,” he said in the post-match interviews.

“We will go back and work towards our challenges and rectify them for the second match. Our object is to make the last four and we have to more matches to achieve that target.”

Burkina Faso will next face Mali, who also lost their opening game to Senegal.
