An advisor to Timo Werner says the Chelsea striker will eventually move to Bayern Munich.

Karl-Heinz Forster has revealed Bayern were keen to sign Werner while he was still with RB Leipzig.

“Some top clubs from Europe wanted him,” Forster told Sport1, “FC Bayern was there too, but in the end Timo decided on FC Chelsea.

“Will a move to Munich with the new Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann, Werner’s sponsor, be an issue again?

“You can’t rule out anything. If I had to assess it at the moment, I would say very clearly that Timo will stay at Chelsea. He feels comfortable there. A change will not be an issue in the foreseeable future.

“Julian and Timo appreciate each other, of course I don’t yet know what will be in three or four years. Football is fast-paced.”
