Willock had a game to remember as he became the first teenager to score for Arsenal in the Emirates FA Cup since 2010.

Unai Emery made 7 changes to his side as they comfortably dispatched Blackpool at the Bloomfield Road to proceed to the 4th round of the FA Cup kind courtesy 2 goals from 19 year old midfielder Joe Willock and Alex Iwobi.

Arsenal started the game strongly and they should have taken the lead in the 3rd minute but failed to do so as Nketiah missed a glorious opportunity as he dragged his shot into the side net after being slipped through on goal by Maitland-Niles.

The Gunners took the lead soon after in the 11th minute after Ramsey’s powerful free kick just at the edge of the area deflected off the wall and hit the inside of the post before bouncing back kindly to Willock who headed home into an empty net to give Arsenal a deserved lead.

With just 9 minutes to play until halftime, Arsenal doubled their advantage once again through their teenage sensation as Willock tapped in at the far post after Jenkinson’s drilled ball across the goalmouth.

Arsenal delivered a third and final blow to put the icing on the cake as Iwobi tapped in from a rebound after Goalkeeper Mafoumbi spilled Ramsey’s effort.

In the end Arsenal run away with a comfortable victory as they have progressed to the next stage of the competition.
