The head coach of Zanwara FC who is also a technical team member of Tamale Dreams FC, Abu Hanan believes that commitment and dedication helped Northern Ladies FC to secure a valuable point in the derby match against city rivals, Pearlpia Ladies FC on Friday, 14th February, 2020 at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium which ended in a goalless draw. Majority of football fans in Tamale and beyond thought the match was a done deal for Pearlpia Ladies due to their recent form in the ongoing Ghana Women’s Premier League.

Speaking on “Top Sports” on Radio Tamale on Saturday, Coach Abu Hanan indicated that the level of endurance of the players of Northern Ladies FC is high, giving them the ability to fight for 90 minutes without fatigue setting in.

The former coach of Glory Stars and Guan United (now Tamale City) associates the 5 star performance of the players of Northern Ladies to commitment and dedication to training sessions.
