Northern Ladies inflicted a harsh lesson on Coach Alex Kamara in his first trip to the North as Ash-Town Ladies head coach with a 6-0 victory at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Jafaru Rahama opened NL’s account with a superb strike on the 10th minute, but Ash-Town immediately were looking for a response and created some few chances but couldn’t convert them.

A combination of wastefulness in front of goal and defensive errors cost them dear, as Torkudzor Fredrica doubled Northern Ladies lead 3 minutes later and Salifu Victoria tapped in an assist from J Rahama on the 37th minute to end a promising first half.

A brilliant second half performance saw Victoria and Fredrica both registering their second goals of the game on the 76th and 88th minutes respectively, Zubeiru Hiqmah completing the scoring to give Northern Ladies their first win of the campaign.
