Super agent Jorge Mendes has plans for Barcelona superkid Ansu Fati and new contract talks.
Mendes now is in charge of Fati’s affairs and is preparing for new contract negotiations with Barca.
The winger currently has a deal to 2022 and the board recognises it will soon be time to enter talks about a new arrangement.
Okdiario says Mendes will demand a huge pay-rise for Fati, despite him still being 17. Established as a first-choice for Barca and Spain, Mendes will push for Fati to be placed among the club’s highest earners.
Indeed, Mendes will make his move in anticipation that Lionel Messi departs in 2021. The Portuguese will push for the money saved on Messi’s salary to be diverted so to upgrade Fati’s deal.
