Black Stars and FC Strasbourg striker Abdul Majeed Waris was on target when his side defeated Nimes 5-0 on match day 18 in the French Ligue 1.
Strasbourg who picked their 5th win of the season moved to the 13th position in the French Ligue 1, with just 4 points above the relegation zone.
Waris who was brought into the game on the 73rd minute as a substitute converted a spot kick in the 90th minute after two-goal hero L. Ajorque had missed one in the 58th minute.
It was Majeed Waris’ first goal of the season on his 11th appearance and his 3rd goal for Strasbourg since his arrival in 2019.
The last time the 29-year old striker scored was on 9th February, 2020 when FC Strasbourg won 3-0 against Reims in the French league 1.
