New Chief Executive Officer of Real Tamale United, Mr. Kassim Perez has pleaded with fans of the club to appreciate the enormous task that lies ahead and join the top brass in reshaping the path to glory as the club take a new dimension.
Mr. Kassim has called on fans to be patient with the project the new Board aims to run and believe in the capabilities of all appointed officials of the club.
RTU, once a dominant force in Ghana football in the late 70s to the late 2000 has lost grip on their status as one of the country’s greatest teams in recent times. The club has failed to replicate their old glory days prompting the need for the ownership to ring in changes.
However after returning to the top flight for the first time in 8 years, the club wants to make an immediate positive impact this season.
The Pride of the North is taking a new shape with regards to restructuring; led by Businessman Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. The club has appointed former player Kassim Perez as the Chief Executive Officer. The Board member of Action Aid Ghana, a Non-governmental Organization and founder of Rural Media Network (RUMNET) together with a yet to be announced management team will play the role of helping bring to reality the vision of the board.
Before all these happened, the new CEO, has implored the fans to be less demanding and patient with the project they want to undertake. He has also entreated the fans to get involved in the running of the club to bring it to its glory days.
Mr. Perez elaborated this during a surprise visit by the Executives of the Supporters Group of RTU at his office. The supporters on their part promised to collaborate and mobilise a massive fan base to help the new administration.
