Nkoranza Warriors head coach, Ibrahim Mohammed may have coached at the pinnacle of Ghana football, qualifying Wa All Stars to the Premiership with Coach Nuru and guiding Yassin FC to the Division One unbeaten.

But rather surprisingly, it was Real Tamale Utd that gave his side the most stress after day three of the Division One league.

Ibrahim Mohammed’s Nkoranza Warriors side beat the Northern Blues 2-1 in week three of the football season with goals from Issac Mensah and Emmanuel Asare earning them their third victory in a row.

But after a late equalizer from Moses Abayase for the away side and a dramatic end to the game, Coach Ibrahim admits RTU has taught him a big lesson.

“If you look at the competition I have played Tamale City, Techiman City and now RTU but I must admit this is the toughest among the three, RTU has given me a lot to think about my squad and I must thank them. At least I have identify certain loop holes I must rectify ” coach Ibrahim Mohammed told Sey Mubarick.

He however praised the attitude of his boys and believe he has a squad that can do something moving forward. After just two months in charge of the team, Ibrahim Mohammed is already thinking of playing top flight football next season.

” I took over two months ago and what I have observed about the boys is that they aren’t lazy and adopt quickly to what you teach them, he stated.

Next up for Nkoranza Warriors is an FA Cup 1st round encounter with Kintampo Top Talent while RTU welcome Gbewaa FC.
