The dream of Bagabaga Ladies to win this year’s Women’s Unity Cup came to an end yesterday after losing 1-0 to the fast developing women’s club in Tamale, Tamale Super Ladies in the second Semi-final match in Kumbungu.
Earlier in the day, Northern Ladies trashed Kumbungu KYA Ladies by 6-0 to book their place in the final.
Northern Ladies will now take on Tamale Super Ladies in the final on Wednesday, 1st January, 2020 whiles Bagabaga Ladies Fc lock horns with fellow division one league side Kumbungu KYA Ladies in the 3rd place play-off.
In Zone B, Anfaani Ladies beat Victory Ladies by 1-0 in the first Semi-final match while Taha Future Ladies also managed to beat Timtooni Ladies by 5-4 on penalties.
The final match in Zone B will be between Anfaani Ladies and Taha Future Ladies while the 3rd place play-off will be between Victory Ladies and Timtooni Ladies. Both matches will also be played on Wednesday, 1st January, 2020.
