Ghana and Besiktas midfielder Bernard Mensah has served notice that he will no longer be available for national team assignments until further notice.
Mensah was part of Ghana’s squad for the double header of international friendly matches against Mali and Qatar in October but did not receive a call up for the Afcon qualifiers against Sudan.
He was also one of many Black Stars players that tested positive for Covid – 19 among the pool invited for the friendlies.
