Real Tamale United have sent a message of condolence to the family of Jones Abu Alhassan, Black Stars Management Committee member, Division One League Management Committee member and CEO of Tamale City whose sudden demise was announced today.

The Board, Management,technical and entire team of Real Tamale United hereby send our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, GFA, Ghalca, Tamale City FC and all sports lovers on the sad passing on of our brother, friend and former Board member of the club. Abdul Fatawu Alhassan affectionately called (Jones) and by close friends as “Professor'”, a football genius, an eloquent communicator and orator par excellence has left a vacuum in the rank and file of the GFA and soccer as a whole.
RTU will always remember you with other Board members, Chief Jawula, Alhaji Alhassan Alolo, Alhaji Sherif Savanah, Dr. Nashiru Issahaku, among many others who have been the stalwarts behind the soccer achievements of RTU in the past. The history of the club will be incomplete without you Prof. Abu Jones.
U are an iconic administrator whose life story would be engraved in gold by soccer lovers. Go well Jones and may you be accepted among the faithfuls in Jannatul firdause .
