GFA Congress: No more videoconferencing, congress will be face-to-face

The Ghana Football Association has rescinded its decision to hold its 26th Congress virtually after the Ghana President H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo lifted the ban on holding conferences, award ceremonies, workshops amongst others.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions, the Ghana Football Association some weeks ago, notified its members of its intention to hold the congress via videoconferencing going by a directive of the Registrar of Companies.

But with the easing of restrictions in Ghana, the new date is Tuesday 1st September 2020 at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram at exactly 9am.
