Brong Aharfo United striker Patrict Yeboah scored in the second half to earn his side a crucial late point against relegation threaten Real Tamale United at the Coronation Park on Sunday afternoon.

It had looked like the visitors had done enough for a precious victory on the road, only to concede early in the second half.

RTU had gone ahead after thirty three minutes when Mohammed Hardi’s cross-was turned in by the alert Moses Abayese from close range for his third goal of the season.

Wahab Sulemana should have doubled the Pride of the North lead moments later, escaping the attentions of the home defence only to see his low attempt draw a superb save from the home keeper , who diverted over the bar with his legs.

RTU held on for the rest of the first half but were pegged back early in the second half when Patrict Yeboah equalized to deny the guest their first away win so far in the campaign.

The result sees the Northern Blues move two places up to thirteenth on the table, one point above the drop Zone while B. A United drop to second after Tano Bofoakwa won 2-1 against Gbewaa Fc at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
