Mboma City FC is a juvenile club base in Navrongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana. It was formed in 2013 by AZANLERIGU Cherry, aka Mboma during his playing days. His aim for forming the club has been to take kids off the street by encouraging them to play football. To this end he has achieved it to a large extent.

It’s the only juvenile club in the municipal. Mboma City FC has players ranging from U8, U10, U12, U15 and U17.

Due to the hard work done the coaches of the club, two of their players – Satuh Anastatius a defender and Wisdom Mba an attacking midfielder – have received call ups to the national U17 and have already arrived and in camp in Cape Coast.

Satuh Anastatius is a young central defender and currently the captain of Mboma City FC U 17.

Last year in 2019, Satuh was invited to the national U15 where he impressed the national coaches to have gained another call up to the national team U17.

Wisdom Mba is a young attacking Midfielder of Mboma City FC. The lad is a very hardworking midfielder with penchant for scoring goals and very enterprising with and without the ball.

The people of the East are not surprised to see them receive the national call ups.

Can they impress and shoot onto the international scene?
