Gbewaa FC appoints Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una as Assistant Coach of the club

The Yendi based Division One League Club, Gbewaa FC in Northern Region has appointed Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una as the assistant coach of the club to work with the head coach, Abdulai Danjumma.

Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una is an experienced coach who has worked with Real Tamale United (RTU) as Assistant coach before. He is also a former coach of a Division two side, Victory Stars. Before his appointment, he was the head coach of Tamale Future Stars, also a division two Club in Tamale.

Earlier in his coaching career, coach Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una coached Bagabaga FC, a colts club in Sagnarigu, Tamale and Bagabaga Ladies FC, women’s division one club, also in Tamale. He is currently the head coach of the Tamale Technical University Men’s football team.

The young vibrant coach holds CAF License ‘B’ certificate, GFA Five Year Development Coaching License and UK Tackle Africa Grade ‘A’ License.

The CEO of Gbewaa FC expressed his delight to have such an experienced coach as the club’s assistant coach. He believes that the presence of the new assistant coach in the club will bring a positive change.

Gbewaa FC opens the 2020 division one league campaign with a home match against Wa Suntaa FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium at the weekend.
