Nyaabila Issah – A pillar in Bofoakwa’s defence

The versitle defender who joined the soccer masters of Brong Ahafo region in this year’s football season is showcasing his craft very well to the admiration of the fans.

His most preferred position has been playing as a Central Defender. But his other abilities like being a good passer of the ball, good in the air, reading the game and timely interceptions has made him a tough customer for attackers to deal with.

The former Captain of the Ghana National U20 side has played as a left full back, right full back and central defender in all the games for Bofoakwa Tano leading to no loss so far.
In the match against Wa Suntaa he was used as a left full back  to counter the attack of the opponent, which he did perfectly well, leading to a drawn game.

Against Berekum Arsenals in Berekum Issah was positioned at the right full back, where he was used as a propeller of attack on the opponent. He gave an assist leading to the equaliser in that game. The fans were very delighted and so was the coach.

In the game against Nsoatreman at their home grounds the coronation stadium, Issah played in his favourite position thus central defence and pillared the defence to not concede a goal and they won by a lone goal. The technical bench was happy and fans poured praises on him.

They beat Nkoranza Warriors by a lone goal at home in Sunyani.

Issah Nyaabila has proven to be a pillar in the defence of Bofoakwa Tano and he is eyeing a call up to the national U23 soon.
